After watching The PBS govenors debate it was refreshing to see Medina on the stage. The other two looked like politicians. Jumping and doging direct questions. Senator if your not completly Pro Life just come out and say it, I would respect that a lot more than dodging the question. Governor, I would vote for you over the Senator cause Texas is in fair condition but I still didn't get a straight answer from you in my letter to you on Immigration and have other issues with you. Medina sounds very appealing especially in eliminating Property Taxs which can take your property from you if you had hard times. It truly amases me at the amount of bills and regulations we pass every year... LIMITED GOVERMENT!!! I also liked Medina's stance on guns, eliminating registering guns. I always figured anyone trying to take over would just get that list and collect those guns.

I can see why many like Medina. However, I believe a vote for her would not show much "common sense', as I believe it would be a vote to elect a Democrat as our next Governor. I also believe that Rick Perry, despite some faults, has shown that he is a better Governor for Texas than the leading Democrat candidates.

I really liked Medina too and had planned on voting for her until I heard her on Glenn Beck's show this am. The fact that she couldn't come right out and deny that she is a 9-11 Truther (you know they guys that think our government blew up the twin towers!!) REALLY disturbs me. She danced around it but never denied it. She thought there were good questions that needed to be answered... YUP sounds like a Truther to me! She just lost my vote! Not sure who I will vote for now!

I voted for her and would vote for her again and again. The Media told you who to vote for (Perry) and you fell for it. Beck himself has questioned 9/11 but was not outed for it. Google Beck on Sept of 2009 show. Palin also has asked for a new 9/11 investigation. Beck continued his tirade for 10 days trying to discredit her by putting words in her mouth she did not say, by ridicule, and then resorting to out and out lies. This was pointed out very clearly by KLIF Bolton and by the Wells Report.
Wake up. All she said on the Beck program was that there are questions out there and that people have a right to question their government. She followed up stating that she was NOT a 9/11 truther. But the establishment elite want to keep bringing it up and keep her off message.
She has fallen for it because she is not a career politician. That is what I've been looking for for a long long time. Someone who is NOT a career politician.
On issue: She wants to protect our property rights. She wants to regain our State Sovereignty. She wants to shrink Government and Government spending. She wants to secure the border.
Perry tried to mandate a dangerous vaccine on the parents of Texas daughters. Perry tried to take Texas landowners property and give it to a foreign country (Spain). This disturbs me.
Kay voted for the Big Bailout in Wash. Kay voted to increase the National Debt. Kay is soft on securing the border. This disturbs me.
Medina is new to all of this and is going to make gaffs.

I'm a bit tired of Medina supporters telling me that the "Media" told me who to vote for. I heard Debra on the radio with my own ears and read her statement on her website with my own eyes. I was so disappointed in her feeble attempt to regain her footing. Anyone who has listened to or watched Glenn Beck knows that he does not believe the government had any part in causing 9-11. For Debra Medina to state that she was surprised by the question(which was a softball question, by the way)is sad. For her to blame Rick Perry and Kay Bailey Hutchison for her own blunder, is even more sad. Ms. Medina said that she would not be opposed to having a 9-11 Truther on her staff or as an adviser depending on "what else they brought to the table". Enough said for me. I was looking forward to working and voting for her; I even contributed to her campaign after her Mineola appearance. I simply could not vote for someone who still has questions about whether or not George Bush, Dick Cheney and the FBI contributed to the death of 3000 American citizens.
